WILSON COUNTY
MASTER LAND USE PLAN
The plan will establish land use and infrastructure goals, objectives, and policies for community growth and/or redevelopment over the next 20-30 years.
THE PROCESS
The planning process involves three phases of collaborative efforts with elected officials, stakeholders, and the public. The first phase focuses on listening to understand community values, set a vision, and establish goals for the plan. The second phase involves thoroughly assessing growth trends and exploring forecasts for the coming decades. This comprehensive process evaluates alternative growth patterns to set priorities and understand tradeoffs. The third and final phase develops strategies and actions that align with the community’s values and vision and implements the goals.
